About The Position
The City of North Richland Hills Development Services Department, Engineering Division, in cooperation with the Public Works Department, manages the City's infrastructure, including the roadway network, water distribution system, wastewater collection, and drainage systems. This position advocates for the community's best interests regarding infrastructure projects and public improvements. The role involves reviewing plans, managing projects, ensuring compliance with City standards, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and other City departments. The position also requires some field presence during construction to address conflicts and provide clarification to City inspectors. A successful candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a confident and personable approach, and a strong commitment to serving the public sector. NOTE: There is only one vacant position. We are recruiting for the best candidate based on qualifications.
