About The Position

Exp Federal is an established full-service architectural and engineering firm that provides a full range of design solutions and construction support to the federal government. Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally. The Challenge: Exp Federal is accepting applications for exciting career opportunities overseas in conjunction with a contract supporting the U.S. Department of State. This position is on site in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in engineering from an accredited American university or Professional Engineering License
7+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry
Active Security Clearance from the US Federal Government. Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Understand, the layout, and size of fundamental systems: storm, sanitary, vent, water, and gas.
Review contractor submittals against specifications and respond to contractor Request for Information (RFIs).
Develop independent cost estimates both for the government as well as for internal proposal purposes.
Understand the scope of SD, DD, and CD level documents and be able to prepare and deliver drawings at the appropriate level
