Civil Engineer Intern
About The Position
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on transportation projects starting May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026 in our Bloomington, MN office. The intern will be responsible for assisting engineers, design technicians, and surveyors with civil and transportation engineering projects, including: Assisting with engineering drawings, plan preparation, and project reports Performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates Performing field inspection, documentation, and survey work Technical research and writing Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in engineering from an accredited college or university
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CAD software
- Construction Field Experience including observation and documentation
- Survey tasks
- Civil/survey engineering coursework
Responsibilities
