Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• No prior experience required.
• Proficiency with electronic communication (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Design Development by collaborating with the rail design team to create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Utilize CAD software (Microstation) to produce accurate and detailed models and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to communicate ideas, progress, and challenges.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs meet client standards and are error-free.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
