We are a recognized leader in transportation, civil, environmental, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. Our talented staff collaborate to serve our clients with innovative, sustainable solutions that improve the quality of life for the communities in which we live and work. Our Kenosha, WI office has an internship available for the Summer 2025. The internship will provide an opportunity to assist engineers with construction inspection services on a variety of municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. Duties will include assisting with site surveying and documentation of construction activities, computing quantities, and verifying measurements and layouts on project sites.

Requirements

  • Declared major in Civil Engineering.
  • Interest in Municipal or Environmental engineering.
  • Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations to compute quantities and organize data.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work productively with project stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience using CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) is desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word).

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Starting pay is $19 - $25/hr.
