About The Position
The Civil Engineer III position at the Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility (AWWU) involves supervising and managing the Project Management Section staff, overseeing all phases of capital improvement projects from design to construction. The role requires strong civil design and construction management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects under limited supervision. The engineer will report to the Capital Assets Manager and Engineering Division Director and will participate in emergency response efforts as needed.
