About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Civil Engineer II | Engineering [COC0104103] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Charlotte, NC Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting urban planning, city infrastructure, and public works projects through technical expertise in design, drafting, and engineering support services in alignment with the City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) initiatives. Seeking Civil Engineer II candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as COC. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Engineering Functional Area Professional - Civil Engineering Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3+ years experience.
• Civil design software proficiency.
• Project management skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for assigned projects.
• Oversee junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports.
• Conduct site visits for QA/QC.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Support bid package preparation.
• Advise on constructability reviews.
