Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with three years of experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field with one year of experience.
  • Valid State of Alaska Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certification by passing the FE exam.
  • Professional Engineering License from the Alaska Board of Architects, Engineers, Land Surveyors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering duties including report writing and preparing civil engineering design packages.
  • Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Oversee quality control reviews of designs prepared by others.
  • Assist in procuring and administering professional services and construction contracts.
  • Participate in the preparation of project schedules and budgets.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and prepare plans within a computer-aided design environment.
