About The Position

This role is to support Xerxes' growth in the stormwater infrastructure market by optimizing customer stormwater plans, providing product engineering support, and developing technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - Must.
• Previous related experience or Internships in Construction, Civil Design or manufacturing - Preferred.
• EI/ EIT - Preferred.
• General Computer Skills i.e. MS Office and AutoCad.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Effective communication between teams.
• Self Management of workload and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Understand fundamentals of Xerxes’ products, installation standards, and hydrology/hydraulics of storm events.
• Review site and drainage plans to identify design criteria.
• Select optimal product solutions and system layouts.
• Prepare detention system designs in AutoCAD, including layout drawings, material lists, and deliverable plans for engineers and installers.
• Work directly with Sales Team to provide project-specific design guidance, product selection, and engineering support.
• Draft technical documents including testing reports, design guides, and installation manuals.
• Perform engineering calculations for construction loads and stormwater runoff hydraulics on an as-needed basis.
• Assist with structural analysis of underground chambers and other stormwater products.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal templates, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and consistency.
