About The Position

Sambatek, LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. We serve public and private clients throughout the country with office locations in Minnesota, Texas, and North Carolina. The Project Engineer position is an opportunity to work on a team focused on commercial land development of 1-5 acre sites. Each week provides new challenges in site planning, grading, utility design, and stormwater management. We're looking for someone who is ready to grow in their career-- serving clients and working with great coworkers! Work Location: On-site with flexible work arrangements. Pay Rate Type: Hourly with overtime rate of 1.5x base pay for all hours worked over 40 in a week (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• 0-4 years of land development experience (minimum 3 months previous experience)
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven to exceed expectations

Responsibilities

• Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones
• Assist Project Managers with design coordination between clients, grading contractors, geotech, and other disciplines
• Prepare a variety of plans from concept drawings to construction documents
