About The Position

BGE, Inc ideally would like to hire a 3+yr Engineer in Training (EIT) up to the level of Sr Project Engineer (PE) to support the design and engineering efforts of Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility Plants. You can out of one of our Central TX offices: South Austin (Directors Blvd) or North Austin (Louis Henna Blvd) or San Antonio (San Pedro Ave).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• EIT Certification in Texas or Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity in Texas within 6 months of hire.
• 3+ years' experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects.
• 1+ years of experience working in water & sewer system planning and design, including water/wastewater treatment facilities (biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping design)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of relevant CAD software; Civil 3D preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be in one of our Central Texas offices (Austin or San Antonio) on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable) preferred
