The Role: We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Civil Engineer Designer – Utility Design to support our Site/Land Development Team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and production of public and private site development projects, with a focus on utility design, grading, drainage, and infrastructure systems. You will work closely with project managers and senior engineers, supporting technically driven, high-profile projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing meaningfully to impactful community development projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in site development
  • Experience using OpenRoads and MicroStation in project design and production
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized work approach with ability to manage priorities
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and in a team environment
  • EIT Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Working toward Utah Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
