Our Site/Civil Team in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Civil Engineer to lead and contribute to large, technically complex projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineers (PE) license.
  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Knowledge or previous experience with sizing of underground piping systems.
  • Knowledge of underground utility systems, particularly gravity systems (stormwater and sanitary).
  • Knowledge of site engineering including site layout, parking, roadways, hardscape/softscape, site grading and utilities and modeling those systems.
  • Zoning code reviews and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Land Development Process, State, Federal and Local permitting processes and timelines.
  • Data Center experience including Due Diligence, Master planning, Detailed design and modular design.
  • PC Proficiency: Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe, Blue Beam Revu, Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in Stormwater design, calculations, modeling, and Green infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a multidisciplinary approach to large, technically complex projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior civil engineering staff.
  • Offer production support for building projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare civil design models and engineered drawings for plans such as site layouts, underground utilities, site grading, erosion and sediment control (E&S) plans, and stormwater and sanitary calculations.
  • Work on elevations, cross-sections, and details of typical site features related to civil engineering.
