ATI is seeking to hire a Civil Project Engineer to support the Capital Projects team of our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This position will be based in Brackenridge, PA. This role will lead the coordination and overall integration of the Civil Engineering of Projects within a manufacturing environment. This includes leading/participating in the design and implementation of solutions for technical challenges as the Civil SME for the specified projects. All projects will have an extensive strategic impact on the future of ATI.

  • Identify the technical solutions for critical opportunities and problems within our manufacturing environment.
  • Determine the Project Scope.
  • Perform, supervise and review the required civil engineering design and implement the solution.
  • Identify the required Project Budget and control Project spend to the Budget.
  • Identify the Project Implementation Plan and implement Project per the Plan.
  • Develop the required Project Specifications to support the design and procurement of the Project solution.
  • Evaluate Technical Specifications provided by Outside Suppliers for conformance to Project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the Project Schedule based on the Project Implementation Plan, considering the availability of the impacted Operation.
  • Lead Project Resources involved in the Civil aspects of the Project in achievement of the Plan.
  • Coordinate the resources at the Project location to install and commission the Project solution, through the achievement of the Project Objectives.
  • Participate with Internal and External Resources to develop technical expertise in application of the Civil Engineering principles with ATI's production processes.
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience implementing Civil Engineering principles in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in applying basic Project Management principles in a manufacturing environment
