About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to perform design and technical work on aviation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil design, task management, and CAD software, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality engineering solutions for public and private sector clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of experience in civil design, preferably in aviation projects.
• Experience in task management and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer / MicroStation.
• Strong skills in construction cost estimation and technical specification writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders.
• Experience with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.
• Familiarity with project management principles (scheduling, budgeting, and documentation).
• Prior supervisory or project lead experience.
• Road/Highway design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for aviation-related civil projects.
• Prepare and develop contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve department quality control standards and procedures.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, blueprints, and other topographic/geologic data for project planning.
• Conduct design computations and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage or coordinate project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines.
