Job Summary Plans, designs, and coordinates facility construction and maintenance projects from concept to implementation. Analyzes proposals for structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Supports daily operations and maintenance.

  • Plans, designs, and coordinates civil engineering projects
  • Approves and prepares proposals for projects, estimates costs, and recommends improvements
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and documents project progress and implements improvements
  • Reviews, analyzes, and inspects proposed project plan designs and construction for quality and adherence to standards
  • Performs complex activities relating to the planning, designing, and direction of civil engineering projects
  • Creates detailed project plans, specifications, and cost-effective solutions for new construction projects, and resolves problems of a diverse scope
  • Provides guidance to less senior engineers
  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Will perform other duties as assigned
  • Bachelors' degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience.

  • Capital project management
  • Facilities engineering, and/or maintenance management.
  • Skilled in developing, writing, reviewing, and executing facility capital initiatives.
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills to provide insight and consultation across operational and project teams.
  • Facilities management experience.
  • Experience with Standard AIA Contract Documents and Construction Delivery Methods used in the United States.
