Requirements

• B.S. degree in civil engineering.
• EIT Certification or on track for it.
• 0-2 years' experience in civil design and analysis for vertical building construction projects.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of civil engineering theories and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of relevant civil codes and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Nice To Haves

• Government, healthcare or higher education project experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on engineering designs preparing reports, construction plans, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and cost estimates for various projects.
• Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing.
• Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
• Assist with studies and alternative analysis.
• Develop understanding of regulatory and permitting requirements for a variety of jurisdictions.
• Participate in various business development efforts.
• Assist with proposal team and team leader in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc.
