About The Position

As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, KS, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients’ goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch.  Key Responsibilities As an Engineering Technician Intern, you will work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions Team and serve as a resource for an assigned function: Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical. Utilize drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Civil 3D (preferred) to complete assigned projects. Meet budget and scheduling restraints

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Engineering Technology program.
  • No experience required.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
