About The Position

CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Civil Designer to provide AutoCAD design for our civil engineering company. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Full range of visual depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to occasionally travel overnight.
• Two or more years of CAD civil design experience is strongly preferred.
• Certification as an EIT is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complete sets of site development plans including site geometry, utilities, grading, and drainage.
• Perform drainage calculations for slopes, sewer design, hydraulic systems, detention ponds, and more.
• Analyze surveys and field notes to identify potential problems with projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to keep them updated on progress and resolve challenges.
• Complete redlines and revisions promptly.
• Assist design staff as needed.
