As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for preparing plans, specifications, design considerations, reports, and permit applications for a wide range of civil engineering projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- EIT (Engineer in Training) preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to produce high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to support design decisions and problem-solving efforts.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to create accurate and efficient engineering designs.
- Assist in the preparation of calculations, reports, and documentation related to project submittals.
- Interface with clients, review agencies, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues that arise.
- Participate in site visits and construction meetings to ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve any onsite challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in civil engineering design
