Your Opportunity The Civil Designer works independently and as a team member on a wide range of projects including water, wastewater, public works and commercial development under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Project Manager within the broad field of civil engineering. A Civil Designer will perform a variety of tasks which may include investigations, analysis, calculations, preparation of drawings, exhibits, construction documents and CAD. The projects that a Civil Designer may be assigned to will be broad, varied, and diverse in scope, and include collaboration and work with other engineering disciplines, such as architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical. The Civil Designer role is intended for highly experienced CAD operators with independent design experience, or for Engineers in Training (EIT) with prior experience and a high level of CAD proficiency.
