What We Are Seeking: We are currently seeking a Civil Designer/Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Vancouver, WA office. We are looking for an individual who works well in a small team environment, responds effectively to multiple deadlines, and produces excellent work. The candidate must be highly attentive to detail, have the organization and skill to work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager, and be an agile and communicative team member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) in Oregon; licenses in other states a plus.
  • 0-5 years of related work experience.
  • Solid understanding of civil design and construction standards.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Proficient ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support work associated with design of site development and public infrastructure projects, technical calculations, estimates and reports.
  • Work includes, but is not limited to, design assistance for roads, grading, drainage, sewer, water, storm water, erosion control and franchise utilities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
