About The Position
Chicago area firm has a long-term opportunity for ownership and partnership for a Civil Design Engineer!
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of Municipal Engineering experience
- Experience with Transportation and Infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- PE License preferred
- Experience with IDOT, MWRDGC, and County Submittal Processes preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee Municipal Infrastructure Projects from the preliminary engineering phase through the public bidding process
- Communicate with Construction Engineering team
- Work directly with Municipal Engineers and Municipal staff
- Manage junior staff during the design phase
