About The Position

Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with a staff of more than 200+ personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, reliable, high quality services to our clients based on innovation, while sustaining a challenging and rewarding work environment for our greatest assets, our employees. We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote.)

Requirements

Experience working in civil site design.
Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review RFIs and submittals.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history

Responsibilities

Civil Engineering Degree Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
Maintains and documents communication with clients through letters and telephone throughout the development and completion of a project.
Monitors team members’ progress and advises team members of schedules and deadlines.
Conducts project status review checking accuracy of work completed and monitors timeliness of project completion.
Maintains project file.
Assists Project Managers with any administrative duties concerning the completion of the assigned project.
Performs necessary code research.
Ability to work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction.
Ability to take technical direction from Senior Engineer or a Project Manager and complete design tasks and elements. Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
