About The Position

We are seeking a reliable Certified Flagger to support traffic control operations on construction and roadway projects. This position is responsible for directing traffic safely through work zones while protecting workers, drivers, and pedestrians. The ideal candidate is alert, safety-focused, and able to work outdoors in various conditions.

Requirements

• Current Flagger Certification (state-approved or ATSSA preferred)
• Knowledge of traffic control procedures and safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly with crew members
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working on roadway or construction projects
• ATSSA Flagger Certification

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic through construction or maintenance work zones
• Use stop/slow paddles, flags, and hand signals to guide traffic safely
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs
• Communicate with crew members and equipment operators to ensure safe traffic flow
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust direction as needed to maintain safety
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic control plans
• Remain alert to protect workers, motorists, and pedestrians in the work zone
