About The Position
The Civil Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the setup and management of construction job sites. This includes ensuring that all necessary infrastructure such as trailers, electricity, and sewer systems are properly established. The Superintendent will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, specifically the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and ensuring that traffic control measures are implemented and maintained according to project plans. Daily safety meetings are a critical part of the role, and the Superintendent will report on these meetings back to the main office. Additionally, participation in scheduled project meetings and preparation of progress reports are essential duties. The Superintendent will provide input for project scheduling and will be familiar with all aspects of job estimates, including budget management and communication with clients and customers.
