WHAT YOU'LL DO: Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing civil construction projects from inception to completion Work closely with the management team to complete submittal packages, RFIs, work plans, job costing, close and long range scheduling, takeoffs, estimating, extra work orders, and change orders Clearly communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding scheduling, equipment/manpower/material needs, and solutions to any obstacles that may be in the way of the project

Requirements

  • Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degree with 3-5 years of field experience
  • Ability to accurately read, analyze, and comprehend complex plans, specifications, instructions, contracts/subcontracts, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively use software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) and Bluebeam
  • Self-motivation, teamwork, ownership, and pride in the work you do

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HCSS HeavyBid, HCSS HeavyJob, and Topcon GPS systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing civil construction projects from inception to completion
