About The Position

T&M Associates is seeking a Civil/Landscape Architect Designer to join our Land Development team in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role supports land development and site civil/LA improvement projects, with a primary focus on construction administration for public-sector work in southeastern Pennsylvania, including publicly bid K–12 school facilities. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of remote, in-office, and field work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site/civil and landscape architecture design with construction administration exposure.
  • Experience with public-sector projects and familiarity with municipal, DEP, and DOT permitting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of bid and construction documentation and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Civil 3D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between field construction teams and office-based site civil/LA design staff.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, MEPF engineers, construction managers, and contractors during construction.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders; attend recurring construction meetings and perform site visits.
  • Monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design intent, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare site civil and landscape architecture designs, including grading, stormwater management, utilities, roadways, drainage, and erosion control.
  • Support project oversight, technical documentation, cost estimates, feasibility studies, and permitting.
  • Assist with land use and zoning processes and mentor junior staff as needed.
