About The Position

Dabri, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil CAD Specialist to join their team for the LAX ATMP Roadway Project. This role involves producing and reviewing high-quality CAD drawings and plans for roadway and infrastructure projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and efficiency. The position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with expertise in Civil CAD software and a passion for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Civil CAD Specialist or in a similar role, with experience in infrastructure and roadway design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other related Civil CAD software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, including roadway design, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with construction documents, plan sets, and project specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with transportation and roadway design, particularly in a high-profile project like LAX.
• Knowledge of FAA, Caltrans, or City of Los Angeles design standards and regulations.
• Experience working with other CAD design software such as Bentley MicroStation or Infraworks.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed Civil CAD drawings and plans for roadway, utility, and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other related software.
• Support engineers and designers in developing base maps, alignments, profiles, grading plans, and other design elements for the LAX ATMP project.
• Review project plans and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of design documentation.
• Participate in the preparation of conceptual designs and assist in the development of final construction documents.
• Develop and update CAD drawings to reflect changes and revisions during the design and construction phases.
• Ensure that all project documentation is organized and stored properly for easy retrieval.
• Assist in the preparation of utility and drainage plans, as well as coordination with other design disciplines.
• Perform quality control checks on CAD files and provide technical support to junior staff as needed.
