About The Position

The Dolores Huerta Foundation is looking for a Civic Engagement Coordinator to implement civic and non-partisan voter outreach, education and mobilization programs, this role is crucial in fostering a sense of community and encouraging individuals to actively participate in Civic Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of non-partisan civic and voter engagement programs to support DHF’s base-building goals and objectives.
  • Develop campaign plans in coordination with DHF Organizing teams as well as regional and statewide campaign partners.
  • Recruitment, training and coordination of canvassers and volunteers.
  • Training of canvassers and volunteers on DHF strategic plan, vision, and values.
  • Develop and implement Dispatch Strategy to maximize outreach efforts (precincts, canvassing turf, and phone banking).
  • Development and preparation of training and outreach materials for organizers, canvassers and volunteers.
  • Participate in phone and field canvassing to provide necessary feedback and coaching to canvassers.
  • Provide detailed daily reports.
  • Represent DHF in a professional and respectful manner.
