About The Position
The City Tax Auditor position within the NYC Department of Finance is responsible for auditing and adjusting business tax and excise tax transactions to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage suspended transactions, assist taxpayers with inquiries, and maintain accurate records in the Business Tax & Collections System (BTCS).
