About The Position
The Traffic Control Lead 2 works under the direction of a contractor to identify the various needs and or phases of a job. He or she is involved in providing onsite leadership and supervision of the work crew to successfully complete a job. The Lead 2 will be tasked to assess his or her work crew’s performance and to provide feedback to the Safety Team. The Lead specializes in but is not limited to; All skills of a Lead 3 and project management. The Lead 2 emphasizes the development of mentoring skills while providing leadership guidance to other team members. A Lead 2 has the responsibility to protect the lives of our customers, motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and themselves on the roadway.
