About The Position

The position serves as the top administrative officer of the Police Department, overseeing all administrative processes and planning while ensuring the provision of professional law enforcement services for the City.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of ten (10) years of law enforcement experience as a certified officer
• At least five (5) years of command-level supervisory experience
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• Certifications from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board
