About The Position

The Citrix-VMWare Expert role at Unisys is a hybrid position focused on the administration and support of Citrix and VMware infrastructures. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience to manage and troubleshoot enterprise-class Citrix environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational model.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Citrix Xenapp & VMware infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with XenDesktop 7.6 & Citrix XenApp 6.0 and higher versions.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell commandlets and scripting.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 in an enterprise network environment.
• Certification in CCAA and VMware (VCP) and MCSE.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ITIL processes such as incident, change, and problem management.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to train and develop staff and/or clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Citrix infrastructure including XenApp, XenDesktop, PVS, App-V, and NetScaler environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to published applications and desktops.
• Maintain and configure Citrix Storefront/Web Interface.
• Manage Citrix PVS environment, including vDisk updates and troubleshooting PVS issues.
• Maintain Citrix Data store, license servers, and Zone Data Collectors.
• Provide on-call support and may function as a Shift Leader.
• Plan and schedule changes as per client requirements.
• Utilize ticketing tools such as SNOW, ITSM, and HPSM for incident management.
