We are seeking a Citrix VDI - Information Systems Architect to join a high-performing technical team responsible for the design, support, and management of a Secure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for our client. The role involves supporting and enhancing complex Citrix environments, providing technical mentorship, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Citrix VDI solutions.

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Citrix/XenApp environments
  • Monitor VDI platforms using tools like NetScaler and ControlUP
  • Maintain and support VDI End-User Sessions and the full VDI stack
  • Manage and support Citrix/VMware virtual infrastructure
  • Ensure VDI systems are stable, secure, and patched
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using structured problem-solving
  • Support XenDesktop Broker, application delivery, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular technical updates
  • Deliver one-on-one training to system administrators
  • Apply best practices to maximize system uptime and performance
  • Participate in workflow analysis and continuous process improvements
  • 5+ years supporting large-scale Citrix VDI and Windows enterprise environments
  • Expertise with Citrix XenDesktop, XenServer, XenApp, and VMware administration
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Citrix App Layering
  • Familiarity with VDI monitoring, patching, and maintenance
  • Experience training technical staff and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Citrix Administration Certification
  • Experience working in secure, compliance-driven environments (e.g., CUI)
  • Proven ability to lead infrastructure planning and large-scale implementations
  • Strong initiative and adaptability in dynamic technical settings
