About The Position

The Citrix Support Engineer will assist the Citrix Administrator in managing and maintaining the Citrix environment, which is essential for supporting over 15,000 users across Entergy. This role is critical for ensuring the operational success of the Citrix infrastructure, which is vital for employees and contract partners. The position requires a commitment to maintaining the Citrix environment 24/7/365, including after-hours support as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a Citrix environment required.
  • In-depth experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Citrix Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Storefront Server, Citrix User Profile Manager, Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and Citrix Machine Creation Services.
  • Specific experience with at least one ticketing system (e.g., Service Now, Remedy, HEAT).
  • Familiarity with business operations and best-in-class technology landscape.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Citrix certifications (Citrix CCA, CCP, CCE) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily responsibilities to support the Citrix environment.
  • Responsible for routine patch management and system maintenance.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of future-state virtual end user computing environments.
  • Maintain critical business operations of Citrix 24/7/365, which may require after-hours support.
  • Manage Citrix policies, procedures, best practices, and documentation.
  • Support required system reporting, including audits and performance metrics.
