About The Position
The Corporate and Sponsor Finance AVP Banker is a seasoned professional role. This position has a central role in the growth and execution strategy of the firm. This person will be part of a deal execution team supporting all the client coverage industries of the Commercial Bank. Strong candidates will have demonstrated ability to work across different deal teams and product groups and manage multiple competing priorities at one time. Candidates are expected to have a fundamental understanding of financial statement analysis and be proficient in financial modeling. Comfort and proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint) are required. Critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Good communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on project size, geography scope and portfolio growth by influencing decisions through advice, and collaboration with others in area of specialization.
