About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Network Engineer II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Network Engineer II you will: • Supports designing and implementing networks, installing managing common network devices, and troubleshooting common problems. • Works closely with network vendors to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. • Primarily performs as 2nd tier operational support in Service Operation processes for all network related systems. • Supported by the team includes Cisco hardware and software including but not limited to Catalyst Switches, ASR routers, ASA firewalls, Wireless LAN Controllers, VPN Concentrators, AnyConnect, Cisco ISE, OpenDNS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or information technology is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Cisco networks in an enterprise environment
  • Network + or similar certification required
  • A+ or similar certification required
  • At least one of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar networking certification

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry or mission critical industry is preferred
