About The Position

The CIS Representative ensures accuracy and completeness of all file maintenance related to deposit accounts. This position serves as a key point of contact between Operations Officers, New Account Representatives, and Universal Bankers to resolve input errors, missing system information, and documentation discrepancies.

  • Adaptability to change and commitment to continuous learning in a regulatory environment.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in deposit operations, new accounts, or core banking systems such as Fiserv or similar (preferred)
  • Experience reviewing or auditing deposit documentation for compliance with Regulation D, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/CIP) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Review and process file maintenance and exception reports daily.
  • Correct simple errors or coordinate with responsible employees to resolve issues.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure proper documentation is collected for file maintenance, new accounts, and new customer records.
  • Maintain pending exceptions until all corrections are completed and verified.
  • Verify that required Customer Identification Program (CIP) documentation is scanned into the system.
  • Confirm possession of proper legal documentation for Consumer, Commercial, and Special account types.
  • Ensure accounts are properly titled according to supporting documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
