About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Cyber and Network Security Faculty Member who will also serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a focus on its application in cybersecurity and networking. In this dual-role position, the successful candidate will: Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and refine curriculum in AI applications in cybersecurity. Teach undergraduate-level courses in Cyber and Network Security in an engaging, hands-on learning environment. Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies that support student achievement and industry relevance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field; or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in cybersecurity, networking, or AI required; 10+ years preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred.
• Networking, Windows (client/server), Linux, Cisco routers/switches.
• Strong academic and professional background in cybersecurity and AI.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to teach students with diverse learning styles and technical abilities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Passion for student success and a commitment to academic excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity strongly preferred.
• CISSP, CEH, CHFI
• A+, Network+, CCNA
• Mobile and cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Teach in five-week terms with small class sizes to support individualized instruction.
• Bring real-world experience to the classroom in a supportive, student-focused environment.
• Collaborate with program directors to design, review, and improve curriculum related to AI and cybersecurity.
• Stay current with trends in AI, networking, and cybersecurity, integrating relevant practices and technologies into instruction.
