Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science, Health Information Management, or Radiation Oncology, Preferred
• Previous experience in Health Information Management, Radiation Therapy, Information Technology or MOSAIQ/IMPAC experience, Required
• RTT or IT-related certification, Preferred
• Windows based operating systems for PC’s; Server/Network Operating systems, Required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate department on information systems technology and workflow decision-making
• Serves as System Administrator for the Oncology Service clinical information system applications.
• Resolves problems for supported application(s).
• Makes direct application changes, as necessary, to resolve problems.
• Coordinates problem resolution efforts with Information Technology and Services staff, end-users and non-Elliot Health System resources
• Supports Radiation Oncology, Medical Physics and Cancer Registry at Elliot Hospital and Londonderry Satellite. Travels to each location as necessary
• Serves as primary interface between the organization and the supporting application vendor
• Serves as a Project Manager or Co-Project Manager
• Supports the business requirements of the organization and adheres to the standards established by the Oncology Services departments.
• Develops and produces reports utilizing Crystal Reports or other supported reporting software
