About The Position

You will be a Circuit Design Engineering Manager for the Next-Generation Short-Range Interceptor (NGSRI) program at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the US and we're seeking a talented leader to join our team. As the Circuit Design Engineering Manager, you will be the first line leader and responsible for functionally leading a team of engineers, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. You will be a technical leader, coach, and mentor, responsible for developing your team's skills and expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of program requirements. Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum industry experience of 8 years with circuit card designs, PLD, and/or RF Engineering
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Ability to work well with engineering and operation teams, cross functional partners, or stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

  • Familiar with Siemens Xpeditions tool
  • Familiar with Xilinx tools
  • Familiar with leading a team of at least 5 people
  • Familiar with LM DAR processes
  • Familiar with LM NGSRI program
  • Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience

Responsibilities

  • Working cross functionally with strong interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills that can effectively collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines and presenting to senior leadership
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate technical solutions, proposals, and technical development that follows the design assurance process
  • Utilizing your strong knowledge in circuit card designs, PLD experience, RF engineering, and/or any other related experiences to lead your team to success
  • Functionally leading a team of engineers
  • Driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution
  • Developing your team's skills and expertise
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of program requirements
