About The Position

You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Small Form Factor Missile team. Our team develops cutting edge processor boards, interface cards and supporting hardware for next generation missiles that must meet extreme size, weight, power and performance requirements. What You Will Be Doing As the Circuit Card Design Engineer you will own the architecture, requirements development and trade study effort for missile electronic subsystems. You will work hand in hand with cross functional teams to translate system needs into robust circuit card designs that enable reliable, high performance missile operation. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the development of system architectures, including block diagrams, interface control documents and other architectural artifacts for missile subsystems. Developing and refining performance, interface and environmental requirements for circuit card designs. Conducting trade studies to evaluate alternative designs, optimize system performance and produce clear implementation recommendations. Collaborating with systems, software and test engineers to ensure requirements are met and that hardware integrates smoothly into the overall missile system. Creating and maintaining digital twin models, simulation artifacts and other system modeling deliverables. Participating in design reviews, technical meetings and configuration control processes to verify that designs satisfy all requirements. Producing and updating technical documentation, including system architecture descriptions, requirements packages and trade study reports. Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of professional experience
Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for power electronics
Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Ability to work on site 3 days a week
Familiarity with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704.

LM Design Assurance Process experience
Experience with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Architecture) and WOSA (Weapon Open Systems Architecture).
Experience with CAMEO requirements management tools.
