About The Position
The Youth and Community Advocate plays a crucial role in managing the admission, care, and supervision of arrested youth at the Oklahoma City/County Community Intervention Center (CIC). This position ensures that new arrivals are processed promptly and their well-being is prioritized throughout their stay. The advocate is responsible for facilitating smooth transitions for youth upon discharge, maintaining effective communication with the CIC Team Lead and Community Resource Manager, and conducting thorough screenings and assessments. Leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders, including law enforcement and families, are essential components of this role.
