About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Huntington’s CIAM roadmap. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define priorities, deliver secure and seamless customer authentication experiences, and ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of technical security experience.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience with Access Management, Privileged Access, Directory, and Authentication tools.
  • 5+ years of experience enabling cybersecurity capabilities in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of service design and delivery concepts.
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Experience with CIAM platforms (Ping Identity, Okta, ForgeRock, LoginRadius, Thales, etc.).
  • Excellent judgment and ability to make quick decisions in complex situations.
  • High flexibility and adaptability.
  • High integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and adapt leadership approach to build credibility and trust.
  • Certifications: CISSP (preferred), CISM (preferred), SANS certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CIAM Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and maintain the CIAM product strategy aligned with Huntington’s digital identity goals.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer experience, and compliance needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the CIAM Domain Leader, cross-functional business partners, and technology teams to ensure roadmap alignment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Meet with customers and stakeholders to define CIAM product capabilities and roadmap.
  • Delivery & Execution: Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and define work to enable agile delivery and manage the product backlog.
  • Manage backlog, sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of CIAM capabilities.
  • Customer Experience & Security: Advocate for frictionless yet secure authentication and identity management experiences.
  • Stay current on CIAM trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MFA, passwordless, identity proofing).
  • Vendor & Platform Management: Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity) and internal teams to optimize platform capabilities.
