About The Position

Performs entry-level administrative/project support. Work involves performing a wide range of administrative and office support work for the department. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor. This role also collaborates with cross-functional teams and CI Champions to support documentation, process analysis, training support, and communication related to continuous improvement initiatives. This position operates within a values-driven environment where collaboration, integrity, and empathy are essential. Requirements

  • Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
  • Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.
  • Occasional attendance at meetings, trainings, classes, or workshops in various office locations at Stassney.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining confidential information and records.
  • Maintains files, records, and logs.
  • Makes copies and distributes as instructed.
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes mail.
  • Performs preliminary research on assignments and gathers pertinent data.
  • Assist the Continuous Improvement Coordinator with ongoing ROW improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Support data collection, validation, and basic analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with process documentation, including process maps and Job Aids.
  • Participate in improvement activities using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., PDCA, DMAIC).
  • Track project activities, metrics, and progress to support reporting and sustainment efforts.
  • Support communication and knowledge-sharing efforts, including Communities of Practice and internal resources.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support continuous improvement priorities.
  • Runs errands as required.
  • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
