Starting in 2020, we developed the Re-Imagined Student Experience Program (RISE Program) which offers year-round internship experiences, in a variety of disciplines to enhance your education and provide hands-on work experience to help launch your career in the medical device field. We are looking for students interested in a Continuous Improvement Engineering career to join our organization and collaborate with our team to bring cutting-edge medical devices to life. Requirements
- College Student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or relative field
- Class status of Sophomore or Junior preferred
- Interested in pursuing a career in the medical device industry
- Available 30-40 hours/week preferred
- Available for 10–12-week Summer RISE Program Internship
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Lead change over project at our Injection Molding Facility
- Lead Standardization of Daily Tier 1 Meetings
- Lead Implementation of 5S in pilot area (Visual Management)
- Track and Trend Work Cell Hour by Hour outputs and Pareto top issues for capacity constrained operations
- Support the production floor with day-to-day problem solving
- Support Kaizen Events
- Required to be onsite for hands-on activities
