About The Position

This role will provide administrative support to the Continuous Improvement Department and assist with the implementation of Newell Brands Operating System, PEAK. This role will be responsible for gathering and organizing data on the shopfloor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements, and regularly reviewing processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBi) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis: Assist in evaluating current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Collection: Gather and analyze data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implementation: Support the implementation of process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Operating System Support: Assist in the implementation and optimization of the company Operating System (PEAK).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on new processes and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of process changes, improvements, and outcomes.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Regularly review processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.
