About The Position

ServiceFM LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in Franklin. This role supports church facilities in the Franklin downtown area, helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Duties include cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.

Requirements

Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred
Consistent and reliable attendance, with strong punctuality
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed
Must successfully pass a background check.
Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including walking, bending,stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, and pushing
Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service mindset
Works well independently and as part of a team
Able to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or mobile device

Responsibilities

Sweeping, mopping (wet and dry), dusting, and vacuuming
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
Two buildings, the first is the main sanctuary, offices, and meeting rooms. Across the street is a smaller building with meeting rooms, offices, a kitchen, and restrooms.
Emptying trash and picking up debris from the floors and grounds
Cleaning interior windows and doors
Event setup and breakdown (e.g., furniture moves, event setups & teardowns)
Floor and carpet maintenance
Secure all buildings at the end of each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Support weekend cleaning for scheduled events
