The position involves providing clinical teaching to a 36-resident program from the state’s first Family Medicine Residency Program, one of the oldest and established in the nation. The role offers the opportunity to live and work in vibrant communities with easy access to major cities and beautiful beach towns, including Philadelphia, NYC, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Ocean City, Maryland, all within 1-3 hours' drive depending on location.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
  • Active medical license in the state of Delaware or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical teaching to residents in the Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • Deliver full-spectrum inpatient and outpatient care.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of educational programs for residents.
